LAS VEGAS -- NOVSIGHT will unveil HALO MAX, its newest and highest-output HALO Series pod light, at the 2026 SEMA Show. The new 7-inch off-road light delivers 120W continuous output and up to 200W in Turbo mode, combining high-intensity illumination with an advanced thermal management system designed to address one of the key challenges of high-power LED lighting: heat. The HALO Series has grown into a diverse off-road lighting lineup, including 3-inch, 4.5-inch, 6-inch and 8-inch pod lights, alongside a 20-inch light bar. HALO MAX introduces a new 7-inch performance platform to the family, advancing the series with active cooling, intelligent power management and precision-machined construction. 200W Turbo Power, When Drivers Need It Most Whether navigating remote desert trails, rocky terrain or unlit backcountry roads, off-road drivers depend on lighting that provides both distance and usable coverage. HALO MAX is engineered to address these demands through a five-LED optical system combining two spot LEDs and three driving LEDs into a single ±20° combo beam. In Turbo mode, HALO MAX delivers 19,860 lumens, with a peak intensity of 164,917 candela and a stated beam reach of 1,627 feet (496 meters). The combined optical design delivers focused long-range illumination while spreading light across the trail ahead. When additional illumination is needed, Turbo mode boosts output from 120W to 200W, provided sufficient thermal headroom is available. As temperatures rise, the intelligent thermal management system smoothly transitions output back to 120W. The process is governed by real-time temperature conditions, not a preset timer. Engineered Around Heat: Dual Active Cooling High-output lighting presents a fundamental engineering challenge: generating more light also produces more heat. Without effective thermal management, excess heat can force LED systems to reduce power. HALO MAX addresses this challenge through a dedicated heat-transfer system. Heat travels from the copper-core LED board through two screw-clamped graphene thermal pads, the 6063 aluminum housing and a deep-finned extruded aluminum heat sink. Two sealed 4015 ball-bearing cooling fans, operating at up to 7,500 rpm, actively draw air across the heat sink. The fans are IP68-rated and potted for protection against demanding environmental conditions. Together, these components are designed to move heat away from the LEDs and support sustained high-output operation. Intelligent Three-Stage Thermal Management Beyond mechanical cooling, HALO MAX integrates an intelligent three-stage thermal management system that continuously monitors temperatures at both the LED board and driver. As heat increases, the cooling fans respond first. If additional temperature control is required, the system progressively adjusts light output in small steps. A separate hardware safeguard provides an additional layer of protection. This temperature-responsive approach allows HALO MAX to balance output and component protection automatically, helping maintain reliable lighting performance across changing operating conditions. CNC-Machined 6063 Aluminum: Precision Beyond Casting HALO MAX also introduces a precision-engineered housing designed for the demands of high-output off-road lighting. Instead of relying on conventional die-cast construction for its rear housing and rear cover, NOVSIGHT machines these components from solid 6063 aluminum. The heat sink is extruded from the same aluminum alloy. With a stated thermal conductivity of 201 W/(m·K), the 6063 aluminum construction supports heat transfer throughout the lamp. CNC machining also avoids casting porosity and parting lines in the machined components while allowing precise structural tolerances. Combined with the active cooling system, the housing forms part of an integrated thermal design rather than serving solely as an exterior enclosure. Built for the Trail: IP69K Protection and Smart Control HALO MAX is designed for demanding off-road environments, featuring an IP69K-rated lamp assembly, IP68-rated cooling fans and an M8 four-pin waterproof connector. Its specified operating temperature range extends from -40°F to 185°F. Beyond illumination performance, HALO MAX offers three control methods: backlit physical controls, hardwired connections and Bluetooth control through the NOVSIGHT App. Through the app, users can manage the main lighting mode, Turbo function and daytime running lights(DRL), with 1–100% dimming, fault notifications and 14 selectable white and amber DRL sequential modes. These features combine functional lighting control with the recognizable HALO Series lighting signature. “HALO MAX represents our commitment to advancing off-road lighting by combining exceptional power with intelligent engineering.”— Alex Wang, CEO of NOVSIGHT Product Specifications - Product: HALO MAX 7-Inch LED Pod Light - Output: 120W Continuous / 200W Turbo per lamp - Turbo Luminous Flux: 19,860 lumens - Peak Intensity: 164,917 candela - Beam Reach: 1,627 ft (496 m) - Beam Pattern: ±20° Combo Beam - LED Configuration: 5 LEDs (2 Spot + 3 Driving) - Cooling: Dual IP68-Sealed 4015 Fans - Thermal Management: Intelligent Three-Stage System - Housing: CNC-Machined 6063 Aluminum - Protection Rating: IP69K Lamp / IP68 Fans - Voltage: 9–60V DC - DRL: White / Amber, 14 Sequential Modes - Control: Physical Controls, Hardwired Connections and NOVSIGHT App - Availability: January 2027 HALO MAX will make its public debut at the 2026 SEMA Show, taking place November 3–6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
