Write a Press Release

The SEMA Show Online Media Center allows exhibitors to submit press releases and photos at no cost, putting their news directly in front of journalists covering the Show.

Tips for an Effective Press Release
  • Submit early. Many publications, including SEMA News, run preview stories with deadlines beginning in July. Press releases are often considered in the order they are received.
  • Include a photo. Releases with photos are more likely to be used than those without.
  • Select the appropriate categories when uploading your release. Many editors search by category to find news relevant to their audience.
