One Year After Launch, Studies Show Power Service Diesel Injector & DPF Flush Restores Lost Power, Helping Cut Fuel Costs

Weatherford, TX (November 4, 2026) – Power Service, a leader in diesel fuel additive
technology, released new field and dyno performance data marking one year since the launch of
Diesel Injector & DPF Flush. In a rigorous 20-tank commercial field study evaluating 2025–2026
GMC Sierra 1500 Duramax platforms, a regular treatment regimen of Diesel Injector & DPF
Flush and Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost delivered an unprecedented 60.20% increase in DEF
efficiency and an 11.53% increase in fuel economy. Drivers traveled 60.2% farther between
DEF fill-ups, extending the driving range of a standard 5.4-gallon DEF tank by over 2,500 miles
per tank and effectively cutting required refills nearly in half.

This significant drop in DEF consumption proves that aftertreatment demand begins with the
injectors. When internal diesel injector deposits are cleared, fuel spray patterns improve, and
fuel burns thoroughly inside the cylinder. That complete combustion extracts maximum power
from every drop of fuel. Cleaner in-cylinder combustion minimizes soot buildup on the DPF,
significantly reducing fuel-wasting active regens and easing the workload on the Selective
Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, which lowers the volume of DEF required to control
emissions. This data is further corroborated by controlled dynamometer testing showing an
immediate 6.9% to 8.5% increase in peak torque and horsepower.

At today’s diesel prices, the fuel economy gains alone could save a typical diesel pickup driver
about $600 a year, or roughly $20 every time they fill up.* The results come as diesel prices
reach historic highs, with the national average near $6.30 a gallon, according to AAA.

“Injector deposits build up slowly, so most drivers don’t notice the lost power and mileage until
it’s already costing them,” said Garth Redifer, Vice President of Sales at Power Service.
“Cleaning those deposits restores the spray pattern the engine was designed for, so fuel burns
more completely. That’s where the power comes from, and together with Diesel Kleen, it’s what
drives the mileage and DEF savings.”

Powered by REGENEXTEND, a proprietary formula developed by Power Service, Diesel
Injector & DPF Flush tackles deposits throughout the system, including injectors, turbo
components, EGR and DPF, while helping reduce regen frequency and duration by up to 50%.
Drivers can expect cleaner injectors, optimized combustion, reduced carbon buildup and
improved fuel efficiency, whether hauling long distances or navigating stop-and-go traffic.

“For 70 years, diesel owners have trusted Power Service because we back our products with
science,” said Mandy Storm, Executive Vice President of Power Service. “With the launch of
Diesel Injector & DPF Flush a year ago, we offered drivers a full-system clean in a single tank.
Now we have the data to show what that means for their engines and their wallets. With diesel
prices where they are, every mile per gallon counts.”

Diesel Injector & DPF Flush works across all diesel-powered vehicles, including commercial
fleets, farm equipment and personal pickups. Available in 12 oz, 26 oz and 64 oz sizes, it can be
used routinely or as needed for a system flush.

Diesel Injector & DPF Flush is available at Walmart, Amazon, Atwoods, Blain’s Farm & Fleet,
Bomgaars, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Pilot and Flying J, Rural King, Tractor Supply
Company, TravelCenters of America and Petro Stopping Centers, as well as through Power
Service’s distributor network. For a full list of retailers or to purchase online, visit

*Savings estimate based on a national average diesel price of $6.30 per gallon (AAA, October
2026), a 32-gallon tank, a 16-mpg baseline and 15,000 miles driven per year. Individual results
will vary.
